Charly has become much more aware of the world and the people that he is always around. He falls in love with a girl, and remembers things from his past involving his mother, father, and sister. He gets depressed and lonely because no one is on the same intellectual level as him and no one knows what he's going through (except for Algernon the mouse). I finished the book and parts of it where good, but some parts, particularly when he is a genius, are a little slow. Overall its a great story.
How has Charly changed since his operation, besides getting smarter? How do you like the book so far?
