Ok! Here's the first assignment...
The setting of "Flowers for Algernon" is set in modern NY (1950ish??). The first character introduced is Charly, who is narrarating. Several of his doctors are later introduced, and his family is mentioned. Those are the first characters introduced in the novel.

ReplyDeleteIts Lily! Now I am answering your question! So the book is about Sabriel, an 18 year old girl who can travel in and out of death to keep the dead out of the world of the living. But Sabriel has been going to school out of the Old Kingdom, where magic and her father lives. Her family are the Ahborsen's who keep the dead dead. Sabriel's father is the current Ahborsen and he comes to visit her every year. So when he doesn't come Sabriel goes to find him. But his servants said that he has passed, and Sabriel is the new Ahborsen, She denies her being the Ahborsen and goes to find her father's body so she can try to bring him back so she wont have to be the Ahborsen and so she can still have her father alive. It is a confusing book but I hoped that this comment cleared things up!
